Mary McLeod Bethune
http://www.usca.sc.edu/aasc/bethune.htm
This text-based site is a fairly complete biography of Mary McLeod Bethune. There are four links on the site and only one, the national park site, worked. So, if you are a teacher or a high school student looking for a well-researched biography with citations, this is the site for you. If you want graphics, etc. you would do better to look elsewhere.

ThinkQuest: Mary McLeod Bethune
http://library.thinkquest.org/10320/Bethune.htm
This short biography of Mary McLeod Bethune is appropriate for elementary and middle school students. It is part of a themed series of famous African Americans who have appeared on U.S. postage stamps. It would be fun and educational to have students use these sites to create a bulletin board with the stamp replicas and the short biographies. It is not a site that would be useful for more than minimal research and is not appropriate for high school students who need more academic content.
