Take a look at the following photographs. Then, respond to the following questions in a 1-3 page essay. Remember to write a rough draft, edit with a peer, and place all drafts in your folder when you are finished.

What do you notice about the expressions on the faces of the black men, falsely accused of rape, compared to the white men, who are in positions of power over them? What do you see in their eyes?
